Since the release of this product, we've told you that your feedback will shape its future. We've been closely monitoring your usage, and today we're excited to bring you the most requested feature — the ability to save strategies.

How to Save a Strategy

Moving forward, when users prompt the AI for a strategy and it is returned, users will now have the option to save it. If you hover over the strategies within the table, a star icon will appear. Clicking this icon will move the conditions and current metrics from that strategy into a new sidebar on the dashboard.

What information is saved

When a strategy is saved users will be able to see the following metrics of a strategy.

  • Start: The date when tracking or the trading period began.
  • Net Profit: Total profit earned after deducting all losses.
  • Closed Trades: The total number of completed trades during the period.
  • Winrate: The percentage of trades that resulted in a profit.
  • Profit Factor: The ratio of total profits to total losses.
  • Max Drawdown: The largest drop from a peak to a trough in the account balance.
  • Avg. Trade: The average profit or loss per trade.
  • Avg. Winning Trade: The average profit earned from winning trades.
  • Avg. Losing Trade: The average loss incurred from losing trades.
  • Long Conditions: The conditions used to execute a buy trade.
  • Short Conditions: The conditions used to execute a sell trade.
(The timeframe is listed before opening the strategy)

Users can delete a strategy from the dashboard by clicking the three dots to the right of the strategy conditions.

Consolidating Multiple Strategies

When a strategy is saved, users can view its net profit at a glance. However, if users save multiple strategies for a single ticker, the net profit will reflect the combined total of all the strategies under that ticker. This feature allows users to maintain a portfolio of strategies for a ticker and track their overall performance.

The performance of these strategies is updated as new trades are executed according to the strategy’s conditions.

We hope you enjoy this update! We're looking forward to seeing what features you request next. Thank you for taking the time to read 🙂
